Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado’s largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Document Control Tech in Denver.

This is a part-time (24-25 hours/week position that offers a full benefit package.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scan and attach document(s) into specific patient file (name and unique identifier) in the proper location of the EMR (electronic medical record)-Ensure that the documents are labeled correctly with proper dates of service-Verify that all lab reports, pathology reports, medical records, etc, are signed by physician before being scanned into electronic medical record system-Process requests for medical records-Demonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect patient and clinic-Other duties as requested or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years previous office experience, preferably in a medical setting; experience with electronic medical records preferred.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
