Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales

SpotX is on the grow again and now adding a Director, Mid-Market Sales to our National team, primarily to build a book of business in the Northeast region. You will work closely with our Sales Leadership to develop and manage relationships with key decision makers in the digital video ecosystem. A successful candidate will understand the nuances of desktop, mobile and OTT media buying/selling, programmatic and managed services executions. We’re seeking an individual contributor sales candidate who thrives in a startup environment and who has the organizational skills needed to build and manage a large and varied account list.

Essential Job Requirements
  • Create, implement and own a sales pipeline
  • Establish strong relationships with clients through the complete sales cycle
  • Determine client needs and ensure proper contract execution for managed services (I/O) buying as well as programmatic
  • Work proactively with internal teams to convey relevant and appropriate reporting to clients
  • Continuously grow revenue in order to meet or exceed goals, additional incentives in place for new business
Skills and Experience
  • 4-9 years of digital ad sales experience with demonstrated record of success.
  • An experienced sales hunter who can leverage their existing contacts with independent digital agencies to build a large book of business.
  • High level of integrity, excellent presentation, organizational & communication skills.
  • A proven track record delivering on and exceeding revenue goals from multiple accounts.
  • Hands-on approach to tackling tactical/strategic work.
  • Knowledge of programmatic buying and video adtech.
